Thursday, January 24, 2008 Friends of Arrow Rock 1st Saturday Lecture SeriesArchaeologist Tim Baumann’s lecture on Soul Food February 2 is the first in a series of four 1st Saturday Lectures sponsored by the Friends of Arrow Rock and held at the Arrow Rock State Historic Site Visitor Center. Other topics will be:March 1: The Civil War in Saline County by historians James Denny and Michael Dickey April 5: In the Spirit of Yellow Eyes, A Cultural Legacy by artist, cultural interpreter and great-great- granddaughter of Yellow Eyes, Dorothy Eiken May 3: Bad Blood a 90-minute documentary on the Missouri Kansas Border War produced by KCPT-TV, Kansas City, followed by discussion with producers Angee Simmons, Pam Reichart and Emmy award winner Clayton Stubbs. All programs begin at 10:00 a.m. and are open free to the public.
