This project, titled “As I Recall,” focuses special attention on marginalized and underrepresented voices from Missouri’s past, including those of women, African Americans, and the working class. In addition to using the oral histories already housed in the Society and WHMC collections, this project also collects and broadcasts “new” stories as well.
“As I Recall” is scheduled to run Thursday mornings on KBIA during Morning Edition. The first episode ran February 9. The series is also available for podcasting and streaming at KBIA
