March 30, 2005 Columbia Artist Frank Stack Donates River Image to State Historical Society
Nationally-known watercolorist Frank Stack recently donated his work Spring Rain to the State Historical Society of Missouri. His recent donation, which is a watercolor landscape featuring the Missouri River, is currently on display in the exhibit Great Rivers. The exhibit runs through May 13 in the Society’s Main Gallery. The Society is pleased to hold twenty-six prints, drawings and paintings by Stack in its collection, which features the works of nationally and locally-known artists connected to Missouri.
