December 08, 2004 New Monthly Workshops Presented at Society to Familiarize Patrons with Research ResourcesBeginning on January 11, 2005, the State Historical Society of Missouri in Columbia will present an evening workshop on the second Tuesday of each month. The twelve sessions will highlight the Society’s research collections and provide beginning research training to persons interested in history and genealogy. Each workshop will be limited to fifteen participants and will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required. Registration forms, can be downloaded from the Society’s Web site or requested by calling (573) 882-7083.
The workshops are free for Society members and available to non-members for $10 per session. Persons interested in joining the Society can do so for $20 for an individual annual membership or $30 for a family annual membership.
