INTRODUCTION

The Unity Baptist Church was organized in 1840. The record books contain the church covenant, articles of faith, and rules of decorum. Minutes were kept of the monthly meetings and contain the names of new members received into the church.

DONOR INFORMATION

The Unity Baptist Church Records were transferred from the State Historical Society of Missouri to the Manuscript Collection on 14 October 1971 (SHS Accession No. 888).
