INTRODUCTION

The Missouri Postmasters Association Papers consist of a few scattered programs, minutes, and proceedings of an organization of postmasters. The association sought to better the conditions that postmasters worked under and to increase the respect that the public had for them.

The Missouri Postmasters Association Papers were transferred from the State Historical Society of Missouri on 25 February 1972 (SHS Accession No. 925).
