INTRODUCTION

The Collins Papers include records of Collins’s service in the 2^ndregiment, Missouri Volunteer Cavalry, Merrill’s Horse, Company E. There are also applications of Collins and his wife Emily C. Collins for Civil War pensions.

DONOR INFORMATION

The Collins Papers were donated to the State Historical Society of Missouri by Thomas Rothrock on 8 May 1973 (SHS Accession No. 1011).
