INTRODUCTION

Nine letters written by Lydia B. Calvert and her daughters Jan Craver, Hannah Link, and Catherine Mathews from Virginia and Kentucky. They are concerned mostly with family affairs. Mrs. Calvert's daughter, Sally, married John Kaylor, a relative of Wesley Kaylor.
