These are records of field work by F. L. Spindler and J. S. Wallace, missionaries for the American Sunday-School Union, in Christian, Douglas, Howell, Ozark, Texas, Webster, and Wright counties in Missouri. The records include a daily log of missionary activities, lists of churches, Sunday schools, and superintendents visited, and accounts of periodicals sold.

These are diaries and topographic maps of a civil engineer, member of the 36th Illinois Infantry, and civilian employee of the U. S. Army. The materials concern homesteading in Minnesota in 1857; campaigning in Missouri and Arkansas with the Army of Southwest Missouri, 1861-1862; mapping in Kansas and Colorado in 1865; and the Powder River Indian Expedition in Nebraska and Wyoming in 1865.

These are personal and professional papers of an electrical engineer in Missouri. Boulson was general manager of the Sho-Me Power Corporation, 1954-1974, and member of the Board of Directors of Associated Electric Cooperative, Inc. The collection includes correspondence, scrapbooks, professional and historical writings, speeches on rural electrification in Missouri, and corporate manuals and annual reports of Sho-Me Power Corporation and Associated Electric Cooperative, Inc.

The papers contain a collection of newspaper clippings on Missouri, 1823-1868, from New York and Boston newspapers, primarily the New York Daily Tribune. Most of the items pertain to the Civil War in Missouri, 1861-1862, and include maps and diagrams of the war in the west.

These are the correspondence and research files of a Missouri historian. Topics include history, personages, architecture, culture, and folklore, particularly of the Ozarks region of Missouri, but also areas in the central and northern parts of the state. The papers include wide-ranging correspondence concerning research into and publication of the 19th century historical writings of Theodore P. Russell of Iron County and Silas C. Turnbo of southwest Missouri. The collection also includes a large selection of promotional publications and ephemera associated with late 20th century tourism in Missouri and Arkansas.

These are papers, mostly correspondence, of the Roller family of Christian and Douglas counties in Missouri and Scott County, Virginia. With one exception the letters are addressed to Jacob Roller, in Virginia, from his relatives in Missouri. The exception is a letter from General R. Johnson, an in-law to the Rollers, of Douglas County, to his mother, Sarah (Bowen) Johnson.

These are records of the Roy Nelson Canning Company, a large tomato-canning concern especially active in Stone, Taney, and Douglas counties in Missouri. The collection consists of land records, deeds, financial statements, insurance papers, and records for individual factories, mostly for operations in Stone County, Missouri.

These are records of medical examinations of Union Civil War veterans in Ozark, Taney, Howell, and Douglas counties, Missouri, and Baxter and Boone counties, Arkansas, performed for the U.S. Bureau of Pensions. Each "Surgeon's certificate" includes a medical history of the claimant, descriptions of wounds and disabilities, and recommendations for pension payments.

Originally designed to survey and inventory all county government records, the survey finally included inventories of church records, manuscript collections, vital statistics, American imprints, and federal archives. The Rev. Paul A. Wobus was born in St. Charles, Missouri, on 14 February 1893. His father, Reinhard Wobus, was pastor of the Evangelical Church there. Paul Wobus died on 11 December 1982 in Concordia, Missouri.

These are the Civil War papers of Clark Wright, a resident of Polk County, Missouri, and a Union cavalry officer. The collection includes an order to Wright from John M. Schofield, letters from St. Louis and Rolla to his wife, Sarah Jane Wright, newspaper clippings, rosters of the field and staff officers of the 6th Missouri Cavalry, and a list of signs and countersigns for the post at Lebanon, Missouri.
