MDSC receives disc memorabilia and history from Wham-O
Midwest Disc Sports Collection, "part of the Manuscript Collection at the State Historical Society of Missouri follows the storied history of the flying disc from the first Wham-O Frisbee in 1957 to the Ultimate Frisbee and disc golf leagues of today.""This month the collection received half a ton of disc memorabilia and history from Frisbee creators Wham-O Inc. and Daniel "Stork" Roddick, one of the sport's founding members."
