John Henry Bluford Sr. (1880 – 1946) John Henry Bluford Sr. was born in Virginia in 1880. He was a professor at the Negro Agricultural and Technical College (later renamed North Carolina Agricultural and Technical College) in Greensboro, North Carolina. In 1918 he accepted a position as a science teacher at Lincoln High School in Kansas City, Missouri. Bluford taught high school science for 25 years. |
