Daniel Boone wrote and signed this letter or affidavit. In it Boone states that his son, Daniel Morgan Boone, claimed land in St. Charles, Missouri. The land was granted by Zenon Trudeau to Boone's son on September 1, 1797. Boone claims that the land was inhabited and cultivated before October 1, 1800.
