Reunion, a MoHiP Theatre presentation

Missouri History in Performance Theatre presents a reader’s theatre version of Reunion by Columbia playwright Mary Paulsell. The play is set during a reunion of the 84th Infantry unit known as the Railsplitters. A brother and sister, now in their late 40s, attend the gathering and, through their meeting with another veteran and his wife, travel back to a time of heroism, loss, and longing. The program is based on letters written by GIs during the war, now held at the Western Historical Manuscript Collection-Columbia. Period music from the 1940s will be provided by the popular Boogie Woogie Babes of Jefferson City
