St. Louis Research Center

Supporting the study of Missouri and the Midwest, the Research Center-St. Louis focuses on preserving the diverse history of the city of St. Louis and surrounding area. The Center’s rich holdings include primary resources of the unique experiences of African Americans and women in the region. The evolution of the area can also be traced in the labor and the environmental collections.

Noteworthy resources include the Kay Drey Papers and the St. Louis Metropolitan League Of Women Voters Records.

Manuscript collections are available for research at any of SHSMO's Research Centers.
